เป็นเส้นใยที่มีความเงา มัน คล้ายไหม สวมใส่ได้สบาย สามารถดูดซับความชื้นและน้ำได้ดี ระบายความร้อนและ ทนความร้อน แต่จะติดไฟได้อย่างรวดเร็วคล้ายผ้าฝ้าย เปื่อยง่าย ยับง่าย มีการนำมาผสมกับ Acetate ทำให้ผ้ายับน้อยลง เหนียว คงทนขึ้น รักษารูปทรงได้ดีขึ้น
